Ozark Highlights
Here comes the party boat. Nate and my Dad bringing back the pontoon. What I didn't catch on film was my brother almost knocking my Dad with a quick change of direction in to reverse.
Mom and Dad chillin out on the front of the boat. Me and Nate hanging out in the pee warm water . And yes that was the winning fish for the fishing derby .

Not this...or that!
Searching on the internet can be a dangerous thing.
Roger Mcguinn - Colorado Trail
Hopefully my trip is more exciting than that and not quite as exciting as this Bear Attack! (Warning - Graphic Pictures) Don't worry it was a polar bear in the arctic. No polar bears in Colorado. Not even griz, just some black bear.

Colorado Trail - Pretrip
Finished sorting, packing and organizing all my gear for my 485 mile Colorado Trail trip. I am going to be doing resupplies in Twin Lakes and Creede (photo below of the two resupply boxes). Some final decisions of
the trip were whether to go shorts and tshirt with sunscreen or long pants and top without much spf. I decided with the heat of late June and July to go with shorts (Patagonia Long Haul Runners) and short sleeve top (Smartwool SS zip). Everything is pictured below except for some stuff sacks, pack liner, montrail hardrock shoes and toothbrush and sunscreen which i still need to pick up.
Some of my favorite items for this trip are the Platypus Sports bottle with red spout cap for my fuel (denatured alcohol), Patagonia Puffball jacket and Nanatuk Ghost down quilt.
New items I am trying out are Sportslick (antifungal/antibacterial creme to prevent chaffing) and ULA's Conduit pack. I have been using ULA's old P-2 pack which is larger with great success during the past year.
