Dirtbag Diaries

Carabiner_final Epi4title

If you haven't heard of THE DIRTBAG DIARIES I encourage you to check it out.  A great podcast put on by Fitz Cahill, filled with stories of outdoor adventures and the characters who pursue them.  Welcome to the Dirtbag Diaries is a short introduction to give you a taste of what its all about.  I especially enjoy his podcasts entitled HELP Wanted and 1000 words.  The first one on what may have been the worlds most perfect job and the second on a photographers ability to capture people in the outdoors.  If you have itunes you can subscribe below.

Not this...or that!

Searching on the internet can be a dangerous thing.

Roger Mcguinn - Colorado Trail

Hopefully my trip is more exciting than that and not quite as exciting as this Bear Attack! (Warning - Graphic Pictures)  Don't worry it was a polar bear in the arctic.  No polar bears in Colorado.  Not even griz, just some black bear.

TrailCast.org

Happened upon a great site today whTrailcastile searching some of the podcasts available out there.  There isn't much content when looking for backpacking podcasts, but one stands out above the rest, and that is www.TrailCast.org a podcast available mostly on topics associated with long distance hiking and the gear, personalities, and companies that make up the industry.  I highly recommned that you check it out.  Here's a picture of Robert Butler the host and Miss Janet one of the famous hostel owners along the Appalachian Trail.
