Foggy Pasture
These photos were taken this morning while the fog in Tabernash still lingered, giving great morning light. The morning temp hovered around freezing giving a fresh frosting to the field here off of county road 83.

Columbine Lake - Indian Peaks, CO
Columbine Lake Trail takes you to almost 11,000 ft in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. It took us 90 minutes to reach the lake, 3 miles away from the parking lot. Both these panoramas show a different view point of the lake. The top one is in 3:1 ratio, perfect for a 12"x36" poster print. The bottom photo is less ideal, since I would need to crop the height of it losing foreground interest.
I hope to revisit this location and better compose what I was trying to achieve.

Guppies
The Fraser River is producing some great fishing this Fall. I caught these footballs only a short walk from my front door. The highlight of the past few days was a beautiful colored orange brookie.

Mellow Yellow
Yesterday I finished exploring most of the Aspens. I climbed up the side of a mountain to find this stand of Aspens that provided both leaves on the ground and still on the tree. The curved ground of the panorama is an effect created by the steepness of the mountain and the trees were bowed outward toward the sun, also giving them curved trunks.
The tour is 6 mb instead of the usual 2 mb, so give it some time to load.

Aspen Road?
Not sure what this road is called or how you can get to it by car, but it sure was beautiful. I walked the road from about a half hour with out seeing a car or another person, and decided it must be named Aspen Road.
More aspens will be coming as I get time to explore more. Also, heading to Denver this weekend with Julie to meet up with our friend Jeff. I'll be doing some downtown photography.
