Christmas Eve

Took some photos of the family tonight.  Everyone have a good Christmas.  Hoping those close can forget and forgive.

The streaked light photos I took with a long exposure and zoomed out while the shutter was open.  The other photos are of my mom and dad (1) and my brother Nate and his girlfriend Chantell (4).

I'll post some other holiday photos as I take them.

It's all over...

Congrats.  You are now PSU alumni.  Welcome to "real world".  I don't have many regrets, in what I did or could have done in college.  I did what I could, when I could.. But I still haven't fully come to terms with graduating.  When I return to State College next semester (I'm living there now) and I realize that I have no schedule, no class, no exams....but work.  It will hit me. Then I apply to grad school and have another few years.

Here's a few pictures that my brother took.  He doesn't have the most steady hands, even for using the nikon 18-200 VR (VIBRATION REDUCTION).   (1) Me and Sushi (Time time big ten champions) (2) Me (3) Photo I took as we entered Kansas of a prison and sunrise.

Almost Home

Saying goodmorning to Kansas at 6 am, gave me an opportunity to take some nice photos of the the sunrise over the plains.  These pictures were taken at around 6:30 am before the 7:13 am official sunrise time.  I made it to St. Louis tonight a little later then I would have liked, but still got to go out for Sushi and hang out with my brother.  I'm heading to bed early to get a head start on tomorrow mornings drive to State College, PA where I'm going to be for the next two days.  I can't wait to be back in State College!

Burlington, CO

Just got in to a hotel after leaving Snow Mountain Ranch.  I'm about 3 miles from the Kansas/Colorado border.  Leaving tomorrow morning at 6 am to try and make it to St. Louis by early evening.  Wasabi's all you can eat sushi is waiting for me there, along with a night at my brothers.  Here are a few photos I snapped as we were driving through the CO plains.  I'll take some more tomorrow driving through Kansas and Missouri.

YMCA Internationals

The YMCA Internationals took the Monday Night Colorado Championship with a record of 7-1-1.  The team consisted of three stellar Americans, a flashy Brazilian, and the tough Chilean.  Some may say that our wins were controversial (biased teams), but after consulting sideline officials our streak continued.

The first picture is of the team YMCA Internationals in its entirety and the second is of the co-captains, Bobby, myself, and Chris.

Holiday Time

Besides counting down the days until I leave snow mountain ranch, I have been decorating for the holidays with cookies and lights.  I leave Wednesday afternoon headed towards St. Louis for the night, then on to State College for Friday evening.  Zeno's will be the place of reunion if you are interested in getting together.  Here are some of the photos from the past week, gingerbread houses and all.
